In late 2020 the London Medical Associates (LMA) opened our first COVID Vaccination service for the residents of West London and beyond on behalf of our local practices. The aim is to make vaccination a locally accessible, quick and safe process for our residents, and we have delivered over 250 clinics so far across all eligible age groups. We now offer COVID and Flu vaccinations at these two sites in the North and South of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea: Violet Melchett Health Centre (SW3) and St Charles Centre for Health and Wellbeing (W10).

An excellent team of dedicated staff, including generous volunteers from our local community, have administered over 178,000 vaccinations so far.

In addition to the two clinics available at Violet Melchett and St Charles, the LMA has worked with local GP leads, wider NHS colleagues, the voluntary and religious groups and the Local Authority to deliver local pop-up services in the community enabling communities to receive a vaccination in local premises.

Patients are invited through their GP surgeries or book through the National Booking System. We also have a dedicated phone line for patients registered with West London practices to book and to follow up on those we have already texted or called, inviting them to attend to encourage uptake

Vaccinations are also available to housebound patients registered with a GP in West London. Do contact your surgery if you or someone you care for requires one, and we will send one of our trained team out to you.
