The LMA hosts the West London Training & Research Hub on behalf of our practices. The Hub, funded by NHS England’s Workforce, training and education service & the National Institute of Health & Care research (NIHR) offers training, development & Research opportunities for all our Primary Care Network teams and Research participation opportunities for West London Patients.

The Hub team supports our practices to participate in national and local research trials sponsored by NIHR funding . The LMA works with our 39 practices to identify opportunities for our residents to participate in local research trials where clinically appropriate. Recently the LMA has offered the opportunity to over 120,000 West London patients to participate in Interact 2, a study about loneliness through their GP Practices.
