How have you found working at the West London GP Federation?
We can work at different practices across West London with a variety of primary care teams and have a hybrid of working at home and in the practices. I also enjoy providing clinical supervision and mentoring to all pharmacy team members, ensuring a supportive, approachable and friendly environment.
What does a typical day look like for you?
As a senior clinical pharmacist, I am responsible for conducting consultations with patients regarding long term condition management, medicine queries and audits. I am also responsible for mentoring our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, tutoring pre-registration students, and conducting and facilitating the training of clinical and non-clinical staff. As part of my development in the role, I have started a masters in advanced clinical practice to develop and hone skills supported by the West London Training Hub and the LMA Federation.
