Dr Armit Patel
Clinical Lead for Urgent Integrated Care
How long have you worked for West London GP Federation?
I have worked here for the last 18 months.
How have you found working at the West London GP Federation?
I have loved working here at the Federation. It has provided an environment where ideas can be shared freely. I have been fortunate to work with a great team from various backgrounds, integral in-service delivery and provision. Whilst working with the WL Federation, I feel I have always been well supported and encouraged in helping to exact changes to the delivery of primary care. I am excited about the ongoing opportunities and challenges that I have been presented with and look forward to working with the rest of the team to help tackle them.
What makes the West London GP federation different from other companies you have worked for?
For me, it is the reactive nature of the organisation to deal with urgent and pressing issues within primary and secondary care. This can be illustrated with projects such as our Afghan Evacuee assessments in hotels, where services had been set up within a matter of days to help alleviate pressures on our West London practices. This is a testament to the strong leadership present within the federation and the team’s enthusiasm when presented with new challenges.
