How long have you worked for West London GP Federation?

I have worked here for five months.

How have you found working at the West London GP Federation?

I started to work as a temporary staff member back in September. Soon after, I was allowed to become a permanent member of the Federation.

It's been an exceptional experience for me so far. I find myself inspired by a great team of professionals I get to work with every day. My colleagues always find time to listen to others, work closely together, and develop innovative ideas to improve our service, always prioritising patient experience and safety.

I am lucky to work for a company that believes in teamwork, trusts its employees' talent, and appreciates their hard work and dedication. The individuals' efforts never go unnoticed here.

As employees, we also value and appreciate that our well-being is always considered. Even when the workload naturally increases during peaks for the service, our leads make sure that we take time off and recover. It's good to know there is flexibility regarding time off, holidays and work-life balance.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I have always been passionate about working in operations, mainly because no two days are the same.

Every day is an entirely different story, so there are no typical days for me!

My Operations role is a perfect hybrid: there is a lot of planning and preparation before each clinic and many actions on the day the clinics are running, and it's fascinating. It's never dull, or too quiet, and especially... it's never repetitive.
